    Welcome to the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt. For all our digital services, it is necessary that you log in with your IT credentials.

    Change password

    At your first login, you will need to change your password. To do this, please click on https://account.activedirectory.windowsazure.com/ChangePassword.aspx


    Password Policies

    Your password must meet the following requirements:
    At least 12 characters long
    Must include at least three of the following four categories:
    • Uppercase letters (A-Z)
    • Lowercase letters (a-z)
    • Numbers (0-9)
    • Special characters

    Please note:
    • Passwords must be kept confidential
    • Ensure that no one can see your password when entering it
    • Do not store passwords in unsecured locations
    • New passwords must be significantly different from the previous one and must not contain your own name
    • Sharing passwords is strictly prohibited

    Reset password

    If you forget your password at a later time, you can also reset it:  https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/
    To do this, it is necessary that you provide a second factor (e.g. mobile number or alternative email address) during your first login.

    If you have any questions or problems related to IT, don't hesitate to contact our helpdesk at Campus 1. In the ticket system, you will also find a knowledge base with answers to frequently asked questions.

    Through Microsoft Office 365, you can access your emails and other content of your Microsoft account from anywhere.

    The Campus Information System (CIS) covers administrative processes:

    • Grade query and grade entry
    • Documents

    Moodle

    Moodle is used for coordinating and conducting teaching. Learning materials are provided here, tests are conducted, and assignments are uploaded.

    Apps Anywhere

    Through the Apps Anywhere portal, you can access the software required for your studies.

    MS Teams

    Microsoft Teams is used for internal communication. Online classes are usually held via Teams.

    BigOpen

    BigOpen (BO) is the administrative software for teaching. This is where the planning of teaching operations takes place. BO is mainly used by Study Services and degree program directors.

    BMD

    BMD is the administrative software for the organization. Here you can find, for example, time tracking, leave requests, and approval workflows.

    FHDB

    Until summer 2022, FHDB was the student management system.
